At Country Canine Care, dogs spend their day exploring large outdoor play fields, natural surroundings and thoughtfully designed spaces that support calm, balanced social play. Located in Union Bay in the heart of the Comox Valley, our facility provides dogs with the space, structure and supervision they need to feel relaxed, confident and engaged throughout their daycare day.
Country Canine Care is owned and operated by a Fear Free Certified professional and Our trained handlers actively supervise playgroups throughout the day to ensure safe interactions and positive social experiences.

3 Acres of Space to Explore

Our fully fenced daycare property includes:
• 6 main play fields used throughout the day
• 2 additional side fields attached to our indoor buildings
That’s over 90,000 square feet of room to run, explore and decompress. Unlike larger-volume dog daycare facilities, we intentionally limit our daily group to approximately 30–35 dogs.

Designed for Balanced Dog Daycare

Our facility layout allows us to rotate dogs between play areas throughout the day, which  helps maintain:
• healthy social dynamics
• appropriate play intensity
• opportunities for rest and decompression

By using multiple fields and intentional playgroups, dogs can move freely while avoiding the overstimulation common in large daycare environments.
This allows us to maintain:
• balanced playgroups
• appropriate supervision
• calm social interactions
• individualized attention for each dog
